  6. End with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.
  7. Format the essay according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
  8. Save the document as a Microsoft Word or compatible .doc or .docx file.
  9. Use a naming convention that includes your last name, week number, and the assignment number (e.g., smith_w5_a1.doc).
